Algebraic Structures of Sequences of Numbers
黃一樵教授 中央研究院數學所 Algebraic Structures of Sequences of Numbers Bernoulli numbers and Euler numbers appear in many disciplines of mathematics and sciences. Identities of these numbers attract mathematicians ever since their discovery in 18th century and are still of current interests. Approaches to these identities range from elementary methods to highly developed analytic tools. In the talk, we provide an algebraic viewpoint on these identities, which can be implemented on a computer to produce more identities - new or known, elegant or involved. We observe that a Weyl algebra and a Lie algebra show up in our framework.
