國立東華大學應用數學系 學 生 演 講 主講人:林逸然 講 題:A Bivariate Markov Regression Model for General Trend Analysis of Panel Data in Continuous Scale 時 間:104 年 01 月 14 日 (星期三) 10:30-12:00 地 點:理工一館 A324會議室 摘 要 In many longitudinal studies, the underlying bivariate response process in continuous scale may experience natural variation over time, as is the case with systolic and diastolic blood pressures. In this setting, transitions between specific states are often not as interesting as the general direction and rate of movement, since infinite transitions between states are involved and provide no summary information about the evolution of the disease process. We use the bivariate Ornstein-Uhlenbeck process to develop a regression model of interest and provide a generalized estimating equation (GEE) approach for robust inference on the relevant parameters. An application of the model to a practical panel data on blood pressure is presented.
