摘   要

We introduce the potential approach and the Balanced Compensation axiom in the context of bankruptcy problems.
    It is proved that the random arrival rule can be formulated as the vector of marginal compensation of a potential function.

Also, the random arrival rule is the only rule satisfying Balanced Compensation.
