摘   要

    This paper considers the best-response dynamics of network formation in which information flow is one way and the transmission through a series of agents is subject to decay, as described in Bala and Goyal (2000). Occasionally, the dynamics are perturbed by random noise. The main result shows that only the empty network and the wheel networks are candidates for a long-term outcome.
